Couscous cake with orange and chocolate - a great chocolate cake with biscuit and orange flavor.
Bark:
- 100 gr. ground biscuit (/bevita, petit../)
- 100 gr. butter
Couscous mixture:
- 300 gr. couscous
- 300 ml. milk
- 150 gr. sugar
- 1 piece of orange
- 150 gr. cooking chocolates
- 150 gr. biscuit (with hazelnuts)
- 4 pieces of eggs
Decoration:
- almond leaves
- 100 gr. cooking chocolates
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Boil milk with sugar and grated orange peel, then remove from heat and pour into couscous.
- Let it sit until it absorbs all the liquid.
When it cools down, add the second half of softened butter and egg yolk and mix everything well. - Melt the chocolate, then add it to the couscous mixture, then add the crushed hazelnut biscuit and finally the egg whites.
- Grind a biscuit /bevita, petit../, cover it with half of the butter and a little orange juice, enough to mix the mass nicely.
- Spread the mass on the bottom of the mold, pour the couscous mixture on top and bake for about 40 minutes. at 180C.
- Pour 100g over the cake. melted chocolate with 2 and sprinkled with almond flakes.
