Boiled sauerkraut - Dijana Popović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Boiled sauerkraut.

Boiled sauerkraut, ingredients:

  • 1 head of sauerkraut
  • 1 kg of dry smoked meat to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of colored pepper
  • 1 spoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of dry herb seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 liters of water

Boiled sauerkraut, preparation:

  • Cut the head of sauerkraut into larger slices.
  • Cut the meat into pieces.
  • Put a spoonful of oil on the bottom of the bowl, then put 3 cabbage leaves. Layer the meat, and layer the cabbage on top of the meat. Do this while there is meat and cabbage.
  • Mix salt, pepper, paprika, dry herb seasoning and place over the cabbage.
  • Pour over 2 liters of cold water.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Finely stuff the cabbage and meat with whole cabbage leaves.
  • Cover the dish and simmer in the oven for 180 minutes at 180 degrees.
  • Pleasant!
