Flax bars - choose the flour according to your mood and what you currently have at your disposal. This time I used rye in combination with graham, buckwheat and rice flour, but you can also use only rye or graham.

  • 200 g of sifted flour
  • 100 g of rice flour
  • 100 g of graham flour
  • 50 g of buckwheat flour
  • 2 spoons of ground flax
  • 2 dl of sour water
  • 1,5 teaspoon of salt
  • 5 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 50 g of sesame
  • 50 g of linseed
  • 1 pinch of baking soda
  1. Mix the dry ingredients - flour, salt and baking soda. Then add sour water, oil and finally sesame and flax seeds. Knead a firm dough and let it rest for a while.
  2. Roll out the dough on greaseproof paper to a thickness of a few millimeters and cut it into equal pieces.
  3. Transfer the dough together with the paper to the facing side of the baking sheet.
    Flax bars are baked for about 10-15 minutes, (depending on the oven) at 180 degrees.

  4. Be careful not to burn them, they should remain bright, but hard and baked.
