Lavash - there are two types of lavash, with yeast and without yeast. It is very quick to make without yeast.
Lavash, ingredients:
- 2,5 cups of flour,
- 2 spoons of sour milk,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 glass of water to which a little vinegar has been added.
Lavash, preparation:
- In a bowl, gently mix flour, sour milk and salt, then slowly add water, knead the dough, which should be soft.
- From the dough, make balls slightly larger than walnuts (the size also depends on the pan in which the lavash will be baked), let them rest a little, and then roll each one out with a rolling pin so that it is very thin.
- Bake the stretched dough in a heated pan.
- Stack the baked lavash on top of each other and cover well with a kitchen towel so that it does not dry out.
- Lavash can be spread with butter, filled with cheese, various vegetable or meat salads, and then rolled into a roll like a pancake.
