Lazy cherry pie, traditional recipes.
Lazy cherry pie, dough ingredients:
- two tablespoons of lard,
- 1 egg,
- one yolk,
- 5 spoons of granulated sugar,
- 4 tablespoons of milk,
- 350 g of flour and
- baking powder.
Lazy pie with cherries, filling ingredients:
- 500 g of cherries,
- 1 vanilla sugar,
- sugar to taste (I put 4 spoons of sugar) and
- 1 spoons of semolina.
Lazy pie with cherries, preparation:
- Combine all the ingredients for the dough: fat, egg, yolk, sugar, flour and finally, baking powder. The dough should be such that it does not stick to your fingers. Leave the dough in the fridge to cool down a bit.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar and semolina to the cherries.
- Grease the pan and sprinkle with flour.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts, stretch it between two nylons or cellophane.
- Lightly grease the pan and sprinkle with flour.
- Put the bottom crust in the pan and prick it with a fork, then spread the cherry filling evenly over it, cover with the second crust.
- Place the pie in a preheated oven at 180°C to bake for about 30 minutes, or until nicely browned.
- When it cools down, you can sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar.
