Leskovac muckalica Suzana Mitic recipes and cookbook online

Leskovac shaker in my own way. Summer is the season of vegetables, so you can enjoy this lunch more often.

  • 4 drumsticks with drumsticks
  • 1 piece of zucchini (larger fleshy)
  • 3 pieces of carrots (larger)
  • 3 pieces of onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of celery
  • 1 piece of leek
  • 1 piece of parsnip
  • 3 pieces of tomato
  • 3 peppers (larger, it is best to use 1 green, 1 red and 1 yellow pepper, for decoration)
  • salt (to taste)
  • 0,5 teaspoons of pepper
  • 0,5 teaspoon of ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of herbs (flat)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 spoons of ajvar
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • hot peppers (if needed and desired)
  • parsley (optional, chopped)
  1. Cut the onion into small pieces.
  2. Fry the onion in oil until it becomes glassy.
  3. Add the chicken meat, separated from the prawns and bones, cut into small pieces.
  4. Clean the carrot, celery and parsnips and cut them into desired pieces.
  5. Reduce the temperature, pour a little water, about 1 dl, and let it simmer.
  6. Peel the tomatoes, cut into strips and add to the mixture.
  7. It is not necessary to add more water, let the vegetables stew in their own juice at a low temperature.
  8. Clean the pepper from seeds and cut into strips.
  9. Peel the zucchini and cut it into cubes.
  10. Add bay leaf and chopped garlic.
  11. Salt to taste.
  12. Add all other spices.
  13. Let the excess water evaporate.
  14. At the end, add ajvar.
  15. Let it boil for a few more minutes to combine all the ingredients.
  16. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
  17. Enjoy the taste.
  18. Pleasant.
You can make Leskovac mukalica from any meat, with or without bacon. You can use all the vegetables you have in the fridge. You don't need a precise measurement. The recipe is always successful, there is no mistake. Hence, I guess, the name - "Leskovacka".
