Zdravko Gavrilović's recipe suggestions:

Gingerbread men

ingredients:
  • 100g Diamant Classic margarine
  • 100g of honey
  • 100g of brown sugar
  • 3g of salt
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5g of baking soda
  • 3 g of cinnamon
  • 3g of powdered cloves
  • 300g of flour
Method of preparation:
  1. Melt margarine, honey, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar. Add baking soda to this mixture and cool it. Then add eggs, spices, flour and mix well, so that a smooth mass is obtained.
  2. Cover with foil and let it rest for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  3. Heat the oven to 170 degrees. Shape into balls and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  4. Cool and, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar or make a topping of 150g of powdered sugar and a few drops of water. Pour the mixture over the gingerbread.

Sacher cake

ingredients:
  • 200g Diamant margarine with butter
  • 9 eggs
  • 280g of dark chocolate
  • 100g of flour
  • 200g of sugar
  • 5 g of cinnamon
  • 1 jar of apricot jam
Ingredients for the chocolate glaze:
  • 50g Classic margarine
  • 200g of dark chocolate
Method of preparation:
  1. Melt margarine and chocolate. Add egg yolk to it and mix everything. Beat egg whites with sugar, add flour and the rest of the mixture. Mix everything gently, so that the mass does not fall.
  2. Bake in a round tray at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  3. When the crust has cooled, cut it in half and fill with hot apricot jam. Leave to cool and then cover the cake with chocolate glaze.
  4. Serve the cake with whipped cream.
