Cracker balls or crackers - as one likes. The ingredients are the same, only the method of preparation is slightly different.
What I don't like when I see in crackling scone recipes is the addition of margarine or oil. Simply, if they are real scones, lard should be used.

Crackling balls - Kristina Gašpar - Recipes and Cookbook online
Balls with crackers or scones with crackers - whatever you like. The ingredients are the same, only the method of preparation is slightly different.
- 600 g flour type 500
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon pepper (ground)
- 300 g of crackers (ground)
- 2 pieces of eggs
- 10 g of fresh yeast
- 2 dl yogurt
- 1 dl of carbonated water
For the ending:
- haha
- sea salt
- seeds (optional)
- Combine all dry ingredients, make a well, add ground crackers, eggs, yogurt and yeast stirred in sour water.
- Knead the dough and let it double in size.
- Shape the dough into balls the size of a walnut and place them in a regular tray or in a springform pan.
- Coat them with beaten egg, sprinkle with seeds and salt and let them rise until the oven is heated to 200 degrees.
- Bake them for about 15 minutes, i.e. until golden brown.
Note: If you don't have enough crackers, add fat.
