Low carb bread - Kristina Gašpar - Recipes and Cookbook online

Low carb bread or savory cake. There is no flour in this bread. This way of eating (LCHF) is based on a reduced intake of carbohydrates and an increased intake of fats.

The name itself says that all carbohydrates should be reduced to a minimum, and therefore bread should be almost eliminated from the diet.

One of the "breads" adapted to the mentioned way of eating, looks like this.

You can prepare various healthier snacks and low carb pastries from this mixture. Combine the spices and "flour" you like.

Low carb bread, ingredients:

  • 200 g ground flax
  • 50 g of ground sesame
  • 80 g of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • to taste: salt, crushed hot pepper, rosemary and cumin.
  • 5 eggs, beaten (S grade)

For sprinkling: unground poppy seeds

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Combine all dry ingredients.
  • Pour in the eggs and mix everything well.
  • Line the bread pan with baking paper and pour the mixture.
  • Spread it nicely with a spoon because it is firm.
  • Sprinkle the low carb bread with poppy seeds or seeds of your choice.
  • Bake it for thirty minutes in a heated oven at 200-220 degrees.
