Magic bread tain - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

TAIN magic bread.

Magic bread tain, ingredients:

  • 3 cups of flour (you can use rye, wholemeal or regular flour, or you can make a combination of all three),
  • 2 teaspoons of salt,
  • a quarter of a teaspoon of dry yeast and
  • one and a half glasses of water.

Magic bread tain, preparation:

  • Mix flour, salt and yeast, then add water and mix with a spoon or a whisk. Cover and let it rest for 12 hours (you can put the bowl with the dough in a plastic bag if you don't want the cover to stick). After that, mix again and let it stand until air bubbles appear on the surface of the dough, which can take from 7 to 12 hours or longer.
  • Spread the dough on the work surface, which you previously sprinkled with flour, and fold it like an envelope, then turn it over and cover it with plastic film and let it rest for another hour or two.
  • First, heat the pan (you need a pan with a lid), half an hour before rolling, then put the dough in the pan, cover and bake for half an hour at 250 degrees. After that, remove the lid and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
