Recipe for macaroni and cheese, prepare quickly and easily, as a delicious meal for lunch or dinner, as well as for any occasion.
Macaroni and cheese, ingredients:
- sea salt
- landing
- 500 g of macaroni
- 950 ml of milk
- 8 teaspoons of butter
- 0,5 cup flour
- 350 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 250 g cheddar (grated)
- 0,5 teaspoon of pepper
- 500 g of tomatoes
- 1,5 cups breadcrumbs (from fresh bread)
Macaroni and cheese, preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 C.
- Grease a pot for cooking macaroni with a little oil and add salted water. Wait for the water to boil and add 500 g of macaroni. Cook according to package directions. When the macaroni is cooked, take it out and drain well.
- Heat the milk, but make sure it doesn't boil.
- In a separate bowl, melt 6 teaspoons of butter, then add the flour. Stir with a wire whisk, and cook for about 2 minutes, over low heat. Add the warmed milk and stir with a whisk. Cook for about 2 more minutes, stirring, until the mixture becomes smooth. Remove the pot from the heat source and add Parmesan cheese, cheddar, a teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Add the cooked macaroni and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Cut the tomatoes into thin rings and arrange them on top. Melt the remaining 2 teaspoons of butter and mix with the fresh breadcrumbs, then sprinkle over the masa and tomatoes.
- Bake the macaroni and cheese for about 35 minutes, until the sauce becomes thick and the macaroni is golden brown on top. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley leaves.
