Mantije with mutton meat - delicious meat snacks.

for the filling:

  • 1 kg of minced mutton
  • 3 onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • salt to taste
  • ground pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of dry spice
  • 50 ml of oil

to prepare the crust for the mantles:

  • 800 g of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 100 ml of oil
  • 400 ml of lukewarm water

for coating mantles

  • 125 g of melted butter

Preparation of the filling:

  1. Finely chop the black and large onions and add the meat.
  2. Salt, pepper, dry seasoning and oil, combine everything and leave it in the refrigerator.

Mantle preparation:

  1. Knead a fine, smooth dough from the above ingredients and cover it with six dumplings, smear each dumpling with oil and let it rest for 40 minutes.
  2. When the dough has rested, roll out the noodles as thin as possible, then place the prepared meat filling along the very edge of the noodles.
  3. Gently roll the noodles and tear pieces of dough, press them with your fingers and close them so that the filling does not fall out, arrange small balls in a circle.
  4. Coat with melted butter and bake at 220 degrees for 40 minutes.
  5. Serve the finished mantles with sour and neutral sour cream dressing.
