Moroccan rose Snezana Kitanovic recipes and cookbook online

Moroccan rose - another wonderful recipe, with the taste of rose!

  • 2 eggs
  • 60 gr. butter
  • 100 gr. sugar
  • 130 ml. yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of rose water
  • 50 gr. flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 50 gr. it bites
  • 50 gr. ground almonds (I used roasted)
  • grated rind of one lemon
  1. Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks and whip them into stiff peaks.
  2. Combine butter with sugar and beat until foamy.
  3. Then add yogurt, rose water, egg yolks, flour and baking powder and combine everything.
  4. Add the semolina, almonds and lemon peel to the mixture, mix everything and then gently mix the snow from the egg whites into the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a square baking tin lined with paper.
  6. Bake the cake at 180°C for 40 minutes.
  7. Cool down.
