Moroccan rose - Snezana Kitanović
Moroccan rose - another wonderful recipe, with the taste of rose!
- 2 eggs
- 60 gr. butter
- 100 gr. sugar
- 130 ml. yogurt
- 2 tablespoons of rose water
- 50 gr. flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 50 gr. it bites
- 50 gr. ground almonds (I used roasted)
- grated rind of one lemon
- Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks and whip them into stiff peaks.
- Combine butter with sugar and beat until foamy.
- Then add yogurt, rose water, egg yolks, flour and baking powder and combine everything.
- Add the semolina, almonds and lemon peel to the mixture, mix everything and then gently mix the snow from the egg whites into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a square baking tin lined with paper.
- Bake the cake at 180°C for 40 minutes.
- Cool down.
