Honey cake with walnuts - the combination of honey and walnuts, together with the taste of caramel, give this cake the perfect taste...

  • 3 pieces of egg
  • 0,5 cups of sugar (from 2 dl)
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 125 g of margarine
  • 1 dl oil
  • 200 g walnuts (finely ground)
  • 150 g of flour

FOR THE CREAM:

  • 100 g of sugar
  • 5 dl of milk
  • 1 bag of pudding (with caramel flavor)
  • 125 g of margarine
  1. Put honey and baking soda in a bowl to caramelize, then when it starts to foam, add sugar and margarine and stir until everything melts and combines, then add oil, stir and remove from heat. Beat the eggs with a separate mixer, add the flour and ground nuts and mix gently. Add this mixture to the previous mixture, combine everything with a mixer and pour into a square or rectangular pan, previously lined with parchment paper. Bake the crust for about half an hour at 180 degrees.
    For the cream, add sugar to (dissolve), i.e. caramelizes, then add 4 dl of milk. Remove from heat so it doesn't boil, then return and cook until all the caramel melts. Separately, mix the pudding with the rest of the milk, then add it to the hot caramel milk. Cook until thickened, then remove from heat. Add margarine to the lukewarm cream, then mix everything well with a mixer.

  2. Cut the cooled crust lengthwise twice, to get 3 crusts. On the appropriate tray, place the first crust, cover it with the filling, then the second crust and cover it with the filling, and finally the third crust, which you also cover with the filling. Let the cake rest for a few hours, then cut it into the desired cubes.
    PS. The baked crust is harder at first, but it will soften as it stands and become loose and soft.
