Honey strudel with walnuts – real honey strudel!

Honey strudel with walnuts - Marija Mirković

- 600 g of flour
- 250 ml of lukewarm milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoons of butter
- 1 bag of dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons of sugar (a little salt.)
- File:
- 200 g of ground walnuts
- 6 spoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 50 g of softened butter
- Knead the dough from all the ingredients. Leave it to rise for about 30 minutes, knead it and stretch it into a rectangle. Mix all the ingredients for the filling. Cover the dough with filling and roll it into a roll. Cut the roll lengthwise with a sharp knife to make two halves. Braid the halves one over the other (like a braid), so that the part with the filling is always on top. Make a wreath and put it in a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Coat the ready and hot strudel with warm honey.
