Honey heart cookies - Kristina Gašpar
- Ingredients for the dough:
- 3 eggs;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 1 cup of yogurt;
- 2 cups of flour;
- 2/3 cup oil;
- 1 spoon of honey;
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon;
- 1 bag of spice for gingerbread (if the spice does not contain baking powder (add 1 teaspoon))
- Filling Ingredients:
- 150 g of apricot jam;
- 10 g density;
- 1 dl of water;
- 10 g of vanilla sugar;
- Frosting:
- 100 g of chocolate;
- 3 tablespoons of water;
- 1 teaspoon of margarine or butter.
- For the dough, whisk all the listed ingredients (pour everything into a bowl and whisk for a few minutes until the mixture becomes smooth).
- Line a muffin tray with paper baskets and pour the batter up to 2/3 of the basket.
- This amount of dough is enough for 16 cakes.
- Bake them for 15 minutes at 150 degrees and 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
- Hollow out the cooled muffins with a spoon or knife and fill them with lukewarm sauce, which you will prepare by combining water and thick, then you will add jam and vanilla sugar and cook for a few minutes from the moment the sauce boils. Cool it by stirring.
- Prepare the frosting as usual and sprinkle or pour over the cookies.
- Decorate them as desired.
