Mediterranean pastries.

ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 320 g of flour
  • 1 spoon of dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200 ml of lukewarm water for coating
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

For the filling:

  • chopped prosciutto
  • fresh tomatoes

Coating:

  • 1 unbeaten egg white for coating unbaked pastry

Dry Mediterranean herbs for sprinkling pastries.

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Put half of the flour in a mixing bowl. Add egg yolks, yeast, sugar, salt, olive oil.
  • Knead the dough with lukewarm water while gradually adding the remaining flour.
  • Leave the dough to rise for 30 minutes.
  • Divide the risen dough into smaller balls and leave the balls to rise for 10 minutes.
  • Shape the dough into a long stick with your hands.
  • Put parchment paper in the pan and arrange the sticks on the parchment paper.
  • Coat the shaped sticks with olive oil, then add chopped prosciutto and fresh chopped tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle with coarse sea salt, add some Mediterranean spices and coat the edges of the dough with unbeaten egg white.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 275 degrees.
  • Pleasant!

Note: serve the pastry with olive paste.
