In the METRO HoReCa center, a competition was held for the selection of a team of young Serbian chefs who will represent our country at the world's largest culinary competition - the Villeroy & Boch Culinary World Cup, which will be held in November this year, in Luxembourg.
All members of the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia get an equal chance to join the team, during the process of selection and preparation for the world culinary competition, where they will have the opportunity to show their talents, skills and creativity.
The professional team of the HoReCa center, as a long-term partner of the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia, plans to actively participate in a large number of activities ahead of the departure of the young chefs to Luxembourg.
"In addition to participating in the selection of the team for the world competition, the HoReCa center will also be the place where until November we will hold numerous professional trainings and preparations for our young colleagues, in whose hard work and professional enthusiasm we have high hopes and we believe that they will be crowned with new medals.", pointed out Milica Aleksić, manager of the METRO HoReCa center.
The members of the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia (JCC), with the constant professional support of the METRO company, have so far participated in as many as four Olympics and four World Culinary Championships, where they won numerous medals and recognitions, and in 2018, by winning the silver medal, they achieved up to now the greatest success of Serbia at the World Culinary Championship in Luxembourg.
