Mocha balls - if you are a coffee lover, try mocha balls 😉

Ingredients for the balls:

  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 dl of water
  • 10 g of vanilla sugar
  • 30 g of chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coffee (or 2 depending on the strength of the coffee)
  • 80 g of margarine or butter
  • 200 g ground walnuts (toasted)
  • 100 g of ground biscuits

Frosting:

  • 100 g of chocolate
  • 4-5 tablespoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon of margarine or butter.
  1. Boil water, coffee, chocolate and sugar - the mixture should boil for 3-4 minutes. Add nuts and margarine and stir until it melts. When the mixture has cooled, mix in the biscuit and let it sit in the fridge for about half an hour.
  2. Shape into balls of the desired size. Place them in the frieze while you make the frosting.
  3. Melt the chocolate while gradually adding water. Finally, add margarine and stir until it melts.
  4. Dip the balls in chocolate and decorate as desired - with white chocolate discs and coffee beans.
  5. You can use special chocolate "tools" or small forks to dip the balls in chocolate. Of course, you can also dip them in chocolate in some other way that you normally use.
PS If you add more coffee, at the end, together with the biscuits, add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (or more to taste) so that the balls are not bitter.
