Moussaka with chard and white meat - Slađana Šćekić

  • For the first part:
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 250 g of rice
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 teaspoon of spices
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of dill
  • For the second part:
  • 500 g of chicken white meat
  • 2 tablespoons of spices
  • For the third part:
  • 500 g of Swiss chard
  • 1 teaspoon of spices
  • For topping:
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 dl sour cream
  • 1 dl of milk
  1. Cut the white meat into steaks, season and fry, then take the meat out on a plate, and fry the chopped onion and garlic in that fat, add the chopped carrot. Wash, boil and strain the rice. Pepper the onion and season to taste, then add the cooked rice. Place the fried onions together with the rice in a casserole dish and arrange the fried steaks on top.
  2. Then chop the Swiss chard and fry it very lightly and pour the seasoning over the meat, cover everything with beaten eggs, milk and cream and bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes.
  3. When the moussaka is baked, take it out and let it cool a little, cut it into cubes and serve.
