Moussaka with greens.

Moussaka with greens, ingredients:

  • 500 g of greens
  • 350 g of minced meat
  • 1 cups of rice
  • 2 small heads of onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 small carrots
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 spoons of sour cream
  • salt, pepper, dry herb seasoning
  • landing

Moussaka with greens, preparation:

  • Wash the green leaves and soak them in boiling water for 3 minutes.
  • Clean and chop the onion. Wash, clean and grate the carrot. Clean and wash the rice.
  • Fry the onion in a little oil, add the carrot and meat, mix until the meat changes color. Add rice and a little salt. Pour a cup of water and simmer for about half an hour (add more water if necessary). The water should boil almost completely. Add spices and pepper to taste.
  • Put a row of greens, then half of the filling, another row of greens, the remaining filling and the greens on top of it in an ovenproof dish. Beat the eggs, add milk and sour cream, mix and pour over the moussaka.
  • Bake for about half an hour in an oven heated to 180 C.
  • When the moussaka is baked, take it out and let it cool a little. Cut and serve with sour milk or sour cream.
