Lemon juice - Sandra Avtovska
Lemon juice - Both taste and smell
Ingredients
- 500 g of lemons (about 5 pieces)
- 1,5 kg of sugar
- 2 liters of water
- 4 bags of lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Wash each lemon well and remove the stalks, i.e. both ends. Blend it with all the peel.
Step 2
Put the blended lemon, water, sugar and lemon juice in a deep jar (volume up to 5 l). Stir and cover.
Step 3
Let it stand at room temperature for 24 hours, stirring occasionally, so that the sugar melts.
Step 4
After 24 hours, strain the juice through a strainer or cheesecloth (once or twice, depending on whether you want pulpy or clear juice). Pour the juice into glass bottles or jars and seal well. Put in the fridge.
Step 5
Consume lemon juice with water, in proportion as desired (approximately 1/3 lemon juice and 2/3 water). Serve cold.
