English bars – a delicious cake, easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • Bark:
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 6 spoon of sugar
  • 3 spoons of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 6 tablespoon flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • File:
  • 6 egg whites
  • 7 spoon of sugar
  • 5 spoons of apricot jam
  • 80 g of ground walnuts
  • 80 g of chopped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the egg yolks with sugar, then add milk, oil and flour mixed with baking powder and mix everything well. Pour the mixture into a pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes. but 180C. While the crust is baking, beat the egg whites while gradually adding sugar. Take the crust out of the oven, coat it with jam and sprinkle with half of the walnuts (ground and chopped) and spread egg white snow over the jam. Spread the rest of the walnuts on top. Return the cake to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes. at 150C.
