This recipe is a version of a recipe from a book published in 1992.

 

This cake is ideal for the holidays, and you can serve it for up to 24 people.

Recipe for cookies, ingredients:

  • 1 cup of softened margarine
  • ½ cup powdered sugar, plus ¼ for dusting
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • ¼ pinch of salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup fruit jam

Recipe for cookies, preparation:

  • Heat the oven to 160 degrees. Put baking paper in the tray.
  • Mix margarine and sugar in a bowl. Add vanilla and salt and mix everything, then slowly add flour until everything is combined, but do not beat too much.
  • Roll the dough into a roller and then cut it into equal balls, up to 3 centimeters wide.
  • Then make a hole in the middle of each one, in which you will put the jam.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until they become golden-brown (depending on the oven), but it is important that they are not overcooked.

It is necessary to cool them for a few minutes and then sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
