The organizers believe that the Guinness judges and board will officially recognize next week that this is the heaviest baklava and at the same time that it is the longest. Although the Guinness rules stipulate that sweets and cakes must be made in one piece, and not from several of them that are then connected into one big cake, which is how their big, heavy and long baklava came about.

By the way, baklava, as an oriental delicacy made of walnuts and honey, entered Bosnian cuisine during the Ottoman rule, and is very popular in the area of Western and Central Asia, even in China, where it has been present in the cuisine of the Uyghur minority for centuries in the province of Xinjiang.
