This giant baklava was made a few days ago in Ljubljana thanks to the efforts of the women's Bosniak association ZemZem, the whole event took place on Prešeren square.
From this association, they also believe that this baklava of theirs will enter the Guinness Book of Records. Bosnian actor Enis Bešlagić and the mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Janković, shared what they believe to be the "hardest and longest" balklava in the world.
Voluntary income from visitors, paid as much as anyone wanted to give, as part of the traditional Bosnian food festival, will go towards the construction of the Ljubljana mosque.

By the way, baklava, as an oriental delicacy made of walnuts and honey, entered Bosnian cuisine during the Ottoman rule, and is very popular in the area of Western and Central Asia, even in China, where it has been present in the cuisine of the Uyghur minority for centuries in the province of Xinjiang.
