Chickpea spread - Dijana Popović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Chickpea spread.

Chickpea spread, ingredients:

  • 250 g of boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2 teaspoon of colorful ground pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 50 ml of water
  • 1 lemon - juice
  • 2 spoons of black sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of churekot

Chickpea spread, preparation:

  • Drain the chickpeas from excess liquid.
  • Put chickpeas, salt, ground pepper, lemon juice and olive oil in a blender. Finely blend and combine. If it is too thick, add cold water and process in the blender for a few more seconds.
  • Add sesame seeds, stir.
  • Serve in bowls, cool and serve with toasted bread or dvopek.

Note: churekot and black sesame are not mandatory, you can also add white sesame in the recipe.
