I mean, Air Serbia's beautiful Airbus A330 is not the first "Nikola Tesla" in the domestic skies. "Nikola Tesla" was flying as far back as 1978, with the same small name written under the cockpit, but then the gigantic beauty DC-10, the then Yugoslav (and all-Slovenian!) air transport.
The most famous JAT and Jat Airways pilots lined up at his command for less than three decades, from that early winter of 1978 until earlyin the summer of 2005, the day when the last "ten" went on a farewell flight without return. I have already prepared a story about that flight, consider this just a small announcement, not to say a "Facebook trailer". : ) I was inspired by Mark Bovan's effective "Airbus" photo from this year. A nice way to compare two times and two aircraft of the same name, with registrations likely to attract the attention of mystery researchers with their palindromic suffixes AMA and ARA!
Really, what could that possibly mean? Ouch…
