  • 5 g of salt
  • 0,5 g of nuts
  • 4 g of dry yeast
  • 30 ml of warm water
  • 180 ml of lukewarm milk
  • 1-1/2 eggs (lightly beaten)

  • 3 ml of warm water
  • 65 g of sugar
  • 1 g corn starch
  • 3 ml of sweet cream

New Year's doughnuts, preparation:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and nutmeg. Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Mix the mixture of yeast, milk, eggs and dry ingredients until it is even. Add raisins. Cover the dish with a damp cloth or cling film, and let it rise for about 2 hours.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep dish to 190 degrees C.
  3. To prepare the glaze, mix the melted butter and 1 teaspoon of warm water in a small bowl. Mix sugar, cornstarch, sweet cream, and vanilla extract.
  4. Grab the dough with a small ladle (or a large spoon) and drop it into the hot oil. Fry for 2 to 5 minutes, until golden. Dry the donuts on a paper towel and let them cool a little. Dip each donut in a butter glaze and a mixture of sugar, cornstarch, sweet cream and vanilla extract. Set them aside to cool completely before serving.
