Orasnice - Jelena Nikolić - Recipes and Cookbook online

Hazelnuts.

Walnuts, ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 250 g of ground walnuts
  • 250 g of finely chopped walnuts

Orasnice, preparation:

  • Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar and beat until almost completely dissolved.
  • Lightly stir in the ground walnuts.
  • Pour the chopped walnuts into a shallow bowl. Scoop out walnut-sized balls with a spoon and place them in a bowl, then sprinkle the walnuts on top to prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands. Make a crescent from the ball (or some other shape, if desired) and arrange it in a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Place them with a space because they grow a lot.
  • Heat the oven to 200C, place a baking sheet, reduce the temperature to 150C and bake for about half an hour.
  • Serve chilled. Enjoy the taste!
