Cotton cake, ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 100 ml of milk,
  • 100 ml of water,
  • 100 ml of oil,
  • 20 g of fresh yeast,
  • 1 egg white,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt,
  • 600 g of flour.

To coat:

  • 1 egg yolk,
  • 1 tablespoon of oil.

Cotton cake, preparation:

  • Pour lukewarm milk into a deep container, add lukewarm water, crushed yeast, sugar and mix. Then add oil, egg whites, a little flour, salt and mix. Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
