Paprikaš with macaroni - Suzana Mitić
- 400 g of chicken meat
- 2 large carrots
- 1 celery root
- 200 ml of tomato juice
- so
- mix of spices
- 1 tablespoons of flour
- a little oil
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 red peppers
- 1 green pepper
- 1 hot pepper
- 400 g of macaroni of your choice
- Finely chop the onion and fry it in a little oil until it has a glassy appearance. Cut the meat into larger pieces. Mix with onion and add a little water and let it crunch until the meat softens a little. Add the turnip and celery, which we previously cut into green pieces.
- Add tomato juice, peppers cut into strips, bay leaves and salt. Pour about 1/2 liter of water and let it cook on low heat. Towards the end, add a mixture of spices to taste.
- In a separate bowl, mix a spoonful of flour with a little water, then pour it over the finished paprika and stir. Let it boil for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, and remove from the heat. With paprika, as a side dish, serve cooked macaroni in the usual way.
