Paratha Indian bread - Jadranka Blažić
Paratha Indian bread - paratha is prepared for breakfast on a chronic diet.
- 200 g of spelled flour
- a pinch of salt
- 150 ml of lukewarm water
- 50 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Today I was in the mood to prepare parathas myself. I denied myself the strong spices that are necessary for this dish, but I wanted to show you in the simplest way how to make it easily and quickly.
- Knead the dough exactly as you would for a pie. Let it rest for 30 minutes, then roll out the dough not very thin.
- Roll it up like an empty pie and cut into ~80g weight. Use this dough to make small patties, then use a rolling pin to roll them into a circle with a diameter of 15 cm.
- Fry on low heat in a Teflon pan without oil for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- They are delicious and soft and roll like mozzarella cheese. Make them, you will like them a lot.
