Bean pate – another lean pate! You can "decorate" the festive table with various diakonia even if you are fasting.

  • 200 g of beans (boiled beans of your choice, plus water in which they were cooked, I used colorful)
  • 3 tablespoons of oil of your choice
  • 1 clove of garlic (or some garlic powder)
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • hot pepper (to taste (pounded, chili or some hot pepper sauce))
  1. Put all the listed ingredients in a deep container, except for the water in which the beans were cooked, and mix with a stick mixer while gradually adding water until the desired consistency is obtained.
  2. And that is that!
  3. If you don't have cooked beans, you can definitely use canned beans.
  4. I very often have cooked beans in the fridge because I use them for all kinds of things, so somehow I don't have to cook them every day. Cooked beans can be stored in the refrigerator for about a week.
