Do you like apricot jam or jam? How to prepare apricot jam or jam?

I believe that there is no person who apricot jam or jam not a favorite.

If it is not one of your favorite jams, then you certainly consume it in various cakes, because Apricot jam has a special aroma and is the most commonly used cake jam.

Whether you decide to make jam or marmalade, it is important to choose healthy and ripe fruits. The more ripe the fruit, the higher the content of fruit sugars, so the need to add sugar will be lower.

The difference between jam and jam is that a smaller amount of sugar is added to the jam, the fruit is chopped and cooked longer at a low temperature. Water and sugar are often boiled first, then chopped fruit is added.

When it comes to the preparation of jam, a larger amount of sugar and large pieces of fruit are usually added. Since sugar acts as a preservative, jam can be cooked for a shorter time than jam.

However, there are no binding rules that must be strictly adhered to. Prepare your favorite jams and jams according to your taste.

ingredients:

  • 1 kg of cleaned apricots
  • 300-400 g of sugar

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

  • Chop the apricots - cut them into smaller pieces, add sugar and mash lightly with your hands.
  • Cook at a lower temperature for about an hour.
  • The cooking time is approximate because not all apricots are the same, some are juicier and some are not.
  • When you run the whisk over the bottom and it is visible, your jam or jam is ready.

If you decide to prepare a real jam, sprinkle the cleaned apricots with sugar (you can add more than 300-400 g), mix and let them stand for several hours. Then cook them in the usual way.

Both jam and jam should be stored in the same way - pour it into sterilized jars, close them well, and then put them in the oven or pasteurize them.
