Fig jam.

Fig jam, ingredients:

  • 3 kg of figs
  • 1 kg of sugar

Fig jam, preparation:

  • Wash the figs, clean them, cut them and put them in a pot.
  • Pour in the sugar and let it stand for 2 hours.
  • Mix with a stick mixer.
  • Cook at a moderate temperature. Stir constantly.
  • Take out some jam on a tray, cool and check the density.
  • Put the washed and dry jars in the oven, turn it on at 100 C, after half an hour take the jars out and leave them to cool for a few minutes.
  • Pour the warm jam into warm jars, return to the warm (switched off) oven for another 20 minutes.
  • Take out, close the jars tightly, wrap them in a towel and leave them to cool completely.
  • Enjoy the taste!
