Fig jam.
Fig jam, ingredients:
- 3 kg of figs
- 1 kg of sugar
Fig jam, preparation:
- Wash the figs, clean them, cut them and put them in a pot.
- Pour in the sugar and let it stand for 2 hours.
- Mix with a stick mixer.
- Cook at a moderate temperature. Stir constantly.
- Take out some jam on a tray, cool and check the density.
- Put the washed and dry jars in the oven, turn it on at 100 C, after half an hour take the jars out and leave them to cool for a few minutes.
- Pour the warm jam into warm jars, return to the warm (switched off) oven for another 20 minutes.
- Take out, close the jars tightly, wrap them in a towel and leave them to cool completely.
- Enjoy the taste!
