Pilaf with saffron and kulen - a great recipe that will awaken your senses! Enjoy this delicious lunch!

  • 2 pieces of chicken drumsticks with carabatak (per piece)
  • 1 piece red pepper (chopped)
  • 100 g of peas
  • 50 g kulen (chopped)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 200 g of rice
  • 1 cube of chicken stock
  • salt (to taste)
  • saffron (on the tip of a knife)
  • pepper (ground, to taste)
  • 5 tablespoons of oil
  1. Season the drumsticks with corabatak with salt and fry briefly in a little oil until they turn brown on all sides. Boil a bouillon cube in 600 ml of water. Fry finely chopped onions in the oil in which the drumsticks were fried, then add peas, chopped red pepper and rice. a little broth and stir occasionally. Simmer on low heat and occasionally pour broth so that the rice does not run out of liquid. When the rice is cooked, season it with ground pepper and saffron, add chopped kulen, mix well and transfer to a baking dish. Put fried chicken drumsticks on top and bake in a heated oven at 200 C for 20 minutes.
