Chicken with carrots and celery - a recipe for delicious chicken in a milk, carrot and Mediterranean celery sauce.
- 1,2 kg of chicken (whole chicken, 1,2-1,5 kg)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 teaspoon of flour
- 2 sprigs of Mediterranean celery
- 2 dl of milk
- 1 piece of carrot

- Clean the chicken (without the neck and entrails), wash it well, and let it drain on a paper towel. Cut into smaller pieces for stewing. Clean the carrot and cut it into thin sticks. Wash the celery and remove the veins, and cut into thin rings.
- Heat a frying pan and melt the butter. Sauté the chicken on both sides for a few minutes. Sprinkle flour on both sides. Simmer for another 10 minutes, turning frequently.
- Add carrot and celery to the chicken and simmer for a few minutes. Add the milk slowly, stirring gently, several times. Simmer until the chicken is done and a milk and vegetable sauce is formed. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve on a warm plate with toasted bread.
