Rice with chorizo ​​sausage – a delicious dish, which is prepared very quickly! If you don't have chorizo ​​sausage, you can use any type of medium dry sausage. It is important that it is peeled before preparation. The recipe has been tested.

Rice with Chorizo ​​sausage - a delicious dish that is prepared very quickly! If you don't have chorizo ​​sausage, you can use any type of medium dry sausage. It is important that it is peeled before preparation. The recipe has been tested.

Rice with chorizo ​​sausage, ingredients:

  • 200 g of rice
  • 1 red onion (chopped)
  • 1 piece red pepper (diced)
  • 300 g of Chorizo ​​sausage (cut into smaller rings)
  • 2 tomatoes (larger, cut into medium cubes)
  • 1 piece of soup cube (for broth)
  • 0,5 l of water (for broth)
  • 1 bunch spring onion (chopped)
  • salt (to taste)
  • olive oil
  • pepper (to taste)

Rice with chorizo ​​sausage, preparation:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan or similar dish. Add the red onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add the pepper and chorizo ​​sausage. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  2. Add the rice, and simmer for just 60 seconds. Then pour broth (from vegetables or chicken - if you don't have broth, make it from a soup cube = half a liter of water + a soup cube). Cover the pot and leave it to simmer for 10 minutes on low heat. Do not lift the lid.
  3. After 10 minutes, the rice should have absorbed all the water. Stir, and add chopped spring onions and tomatoes, stirring. Stew for another 2 minutes, on a low heat and set aside to cool a little. Serve warm with a seasonal salad.
