Rice flour is among the first things we introduce to the baby due to its easy digestibility, and while the baby is still drinking milk, it therefore takes in enough iron and minerals through the mother's or formula.

Like corn flour, it mixes easily with everything, so it is a good choice for breakfast.

Rice flour is one of the first things that we introduce to the baby due to its easy digestibility, even while the baby is still drinking milk, so it gets enough iron and minerals through the mother's or formula.

  • 200 ml of water
  • 0,25 cup rice flour (200 ml cup)
  • 0,25 pieces of banana
  1. Gradually add the rice flour to the boiling water, stirring constantly.
  2. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring to prevent burning. The thickness should be the same as when you prepare semolina, polenta or corn flour, because as it cools, it will gain in density.
  3. Mash a piece of banana and add breast or formula milk as needed.
  4. Check the temperature of the porridge before serving to the baby.
I usually add some fruit to these combinations for breakfast because it's easier to prepare at 5-6 in the morning :), however, rice flour and corn flour do not limit you to fruit only. You can mix more grains with fruits, vegetables or meat and serve as breakfast, lunch or dinner.
I advise that as the baby gets older and drinks less and less milk, you add and mix more things so that the baby gets all the nutritional values that are not in cereals.
If you cook more of them, they can stay in the fridge (without adding anything) for up to 72 hours. If you can't find rice flour, you can finely grind the whole grain into flour.
It is always necessary to cook rice flour because, unlike store-bought flour, it is not processed.
You can freely use cinnamon, ginger, almond milk and the like for slightly older babies. (above 6 months)
