Pie with apples - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Apple pie, which is made from Petrovac apples, is served on the great Serbian holiday Petrovdan, which is celebrated on July 12.

Of course, you can use other varieties of apples if you don't have petrovača, I didn't have petrovača, but the pie is delicious.

Pie with apples, ingredients:

  • 500 g thin pie crusts,
  • 1,5 kg of apples,
  • sugar to taste
  • semolina and
  • oil.

Pie with apples, preparation:

  • Clean and grate the apples.
  • Take 3 peels each.
  • Spray each crust with a little oil and sprinkle with a little sugar, depending on whether you like it sweeter.
  • Place the grated apples on the third crust, sprinkle them with oil, one tablespoon of semolina and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Roll it into a noodle and place it in a greased baking tray.
  • Put the pie to bake at 200-220C.

Sprinkle the finished pie with powdered sugar.
