Pie with cabbage - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Cabbage pie. I must mention right away that I made a pie with sauerkraut from one noodle, and from the remaining three with cheese). 

Pie with cabbage, ingredients:

For the dough you need:

  • 700 g of flour,
  • 4 dl of water,
  • 3 tablespoons of fat and
  • half a teaspoon of salt.

File:

  • 500 g grated sauerkraut,
  • 1 head of onion,
  • and pepper to taste.

Pie with cabbage, preparation:

  • Fry the finely chopped onion in a little fat, then add the cabbage, simmer on low heat. I didn't add salt because the cabbage is salty, I just added a little pepper.
  • Mix flour and salt, then gradually add lukewarm water and fat. Knead the dough, cover and let it rest for about half an hour.
  • Then knead the dough, then divide it into four parts.
  • Form the balls, separate them into noodles, grease them with fat and leave them in a warm place to rest for another half hour.
  • Cover the table with a tablecloth, then sprinkle with flour. Put the noodle, then slowly spread it, as thin as possible. Finally, tear off the edges.
  • Spray the stretched dough with a little melted fat, then spread the cabbage filling over the dough, roll it up with a tablecloth.
  • Place a greased tray in the grease.
  • Repeat the procedure with the remaining three noodles (I filled the remaining three noodles with cheese), coat the top of the pie with fat, then bake in a preheated oven at two hundred degrees, until golden brown.
