Pie with minced meat.

Pie with minced meat, ingredients:

  • 1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets),
  • 700 g of minced meat, I combined pork and beef,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon hot or sweet ground pepper (to taste)
  • chopped parsley to taste,
  • half a teaspoon of pepper,
  • herbs to taste,
  • 1 stalk of leek i
  • 1 egg yolk.

Pie with minced meat, preparation:

  • Leave the dough to thaw, then stretch it into two rectangles, not too thin.
  • Finely chop the leek and fry in oil or fat. Add minced meat, pepper, herbs to taste, pour a little water and simmer until soft.
  • During stewing, add ground pepper, salt, towards the end add chopped parsley and leave the filling to cool.
  • Grease the tray, sprinkle with flour and put the first part of the dough. Use a slotted spoon to take out the cooled meat filling (it must not be liquid) and place it in the middle of the dough and spread it evenly. Cover with the other half of the dough and brush with egg yolk. Make grooves on the dough so that the dough does not rise during baking and thus looks decorative.
  • Bake the pie at 200 degrees for about twenty minutes, or until the pie is golden brown.
  • Enjoy every bite!
