  • 500 g pie crust
  • 300 g of ground walnuts
  • 50 g of raisins
  • 50 g of prunes
  • 50 g of dried figs
  • 50 g of dried apricots
  • 150 ml of oil
  • for the syrup:
  • 800 g of sugar
  • 800 ml of water
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  1. Cut plums, figs and apricots into small pieces. Divide the package of crusts into 4 parts, 4 crusts for one roll. Put one on the first two crusts, and two tablespoons of walnuts and dried fruit on the second two crusts. Twist the rolls. Put a different fruit in each roll.
  2. Cut the rolls into pieces and arrange them in a tray. Heat the oil and pour over the rolls. Bake for twenty minutes in an oven heated to 180 degrees.
  3. Cook the syrup from water and sugar, when it boils, reduce the temperature and cook for another 10 minutes. Towards the end of cooking, add vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Pour hot syrup over the cooled rolls and leave to stand for several hours.
  4. Enjoy the taste!
