Pie with cherries - Vesna Pavlović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Cherry pie.

Pie with cherries, ingredients:

For the filling:

  • 800 g of cherries,
  • 300 g of sugar,
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar,
  • 5 spoons of wheat semolina.

To coat the crust:

  • 100 ml of oil,
  • 50 ml of carbonated mineral water.

And more:

  • 500 g thin pie crusts.

Pie with cherries, preparation:

For the filling:

  • Place cherries in a suitable container, add sugar, vanilla sugar, mix and let stand for ten minutes (so that the sugar melts). Add wheat semolina and mix.

To coat the crust:

  • Pour carbonated mineral water into a container, add oil and mix.
  • Take one crust, coat it with a mixture of oil and carbonated mineral water and arrange a total of 4 crusts. Coat the fourth crust with a mixture of oil and carbonated mineral water and spread the cherry filling all over the crust and roll it up.
  • Make two more rolls in the same way.
  • Arrange the rolls in an oiled tray. Coat all three rolls with oil.
  • Bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • Remove the finished pie from the oven, cover it with a clean kitchen towel and let it cool. Cut the pie into pieces of the desired size, serve and serve.

Tip: If you wish, you can sprinkle the cooled and cut pie with powdered sugar. Pleasant!
