Pletenica with kulen - breakfast, and it can also be a snack for children. Cut the finished braids into pieces and serve with a glass of yogurt.
- 1 kg of flour
- 1 packages of yeast
- 200 ml of milk
- 200 ml of water
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 200 g of kulen
- 180 ml of sour cream
- 100 ml of oil
- 1 egg (for coating)
- 100 ml ketchup
- Put the yeast in a little warm water to rise.
- Then mix it with flour and add the rest of the ingredients: remaining water, milk, sugar, salt, and oil
- Knead a smooth dough and leave it in a warm place to double in size.
- After the 30 minutes it takes for the dough to rise, divide it into 6 balls.
- Mix each layer.
- Roll it out and spread it with sour cream.
- Spread a little chopped kulen over the sour cream, and pour some kepka over it.
- Roll the dough into a roll.
- Do the same with all six obgi.
- Take two at a time and twist into a spiral to form a braid.
- Three braids should be obtained.
- Put them in a pan and coat with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- After resting in the pan for 10 minutes, put the braids to bake in a heated oven at medium temperature for about 20 minutes.
