Sliced cake with dry basil.
Sliced bread with dry basil, ingredients:
- 2,5 dl of milk
- 1 cup (from black coffee) oil
- 2 pieces of eggs
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 spoon of sugar
- 1/2 piece of yeast
- 500 grams of flour
- 150 grams of butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons of dried basil
Sliced cake, with dry basil, preparation:
- Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and yeast to warm milk, dissolve by stirring, add eggs and oil, mix everything evenly.
- Add salt to the sifted flour and mix by hand. Add the mass with yeast and knead the dough.
- Leave the dough covered in a warm place for half an hour to rise.
- Melt the butter, knead the dough, tear off pieces of dough with your hands, dip them in butter, arrange them in a greased mold, sprinkle with dry basil.
- Repeat the process until you use up the dough, leave the scone to rise in a warm place. Bake it in an oven heated to 200 degrees for about thirty minutes.
