Pogača with ajvar - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Cake with ajvar.

Cake with ajvar, ingredients:

  • 650 g of flour,
  • 300 ml of lukewarm water,
  • 25 g of yeast,
  • 1,5 teaspoon of salt,
  • half a teaspoon of sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons of oil,
  • 3 spoons of ajvar and
  • 20 g of margarine.

Cake with ajvar, preparation:

  • In a bowl with flour, add lukewarm water, whipped yeast and sugar, salt, oil, ajvar and margarine.
  • Knead the dough, add more flour if necessary, because the dough should be neither too gooey nor too hard.
  • Leave the dough to rise for about twenty minutes.
  • Grease the pan, sprinkle with flour, knead the dough, put it in the pan and let it rest for another twenty minutes.
  • Just before baking, spray the dough with a little water.
  • Bake in a heated oven at 250 degrees for about thirty minutes.
  • Towards the end of baking, reduce the temperature.
