Cake with white cornmeal, an old traditional recipe.
Cake with white corn flour, ingredients:
- 1 bag of dry yeast,
- 2 cups wheat flour,
- 4 cups white cornmeal,
- 2 cups of lukewarm water,
- 1 cup of lukewarm milk,
- a little salt and
- 2 tablespoons of fat.
Cake with white corn flour, preparation:
- Mix both types of flour, add yeast, salt, water, milk, fat and knead the dough, then leave it in a warm place to rise.
- Knead and place in a greased and floured pan in which to bake.
- Leave the dough to rise a little longer, heat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the scone until it is baked.
I also added some crushed paprika to the dough.
